LOGAN SQUARE — Whole Foods is coming to Logan Square.
A Whole Foods Market is coming to the former Family Dollar at 2280 N. Milwaukee Ave., which closed in 2023 and has been vacant since. The popular high-end grocery store is in development at the site, a company spokesperson confirmed Tuesday. The spokesperson did not have additional details to share.
The store will be a smaller-format version, said Ald. Daniel La Spata (1st), like the Wicker Park store that the company confirmed earlier this year. The upscale grocery chain announced in May its “Daily Shop Concept” coming to three big cities: Chicago, Boston and Philadelphia over the next two years to continue the brand’s expansion of the smaller format into denser neighborhoods and around public transportation…
