LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — A Lancaster County man was charged after the police said he stole more than 600 alcoholic beverages from a grocery store over nearly a year.
On Oct. 13, the Northern Lancaster County Regional Police Department was called to the Giant Grocery Store at the 1000 block of Lititz Pike in Warwick Township.
At the scene, the police found that an employee, 61-year-old David Rios, took an alcoholic beverage, drank it, and failed to pay for it, according to a news release. During an investigation, the police learned he reportedly stole more than 600 drinks between December 2025 and October 2026…
