Elder Care Services is moving ahead with a $1.2 million kitchen overhaul in Tallahassee as hundreds of local seniors remain on a Meals on Wheels waiting list.
The nonprofit expects the project to refresh a kitchen that hasn’t been modernized since the 1980s and increase the number of meals it can produce, according to WTXL.
