According to a recent alert from the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development, things are moving along nicely on the current Colquitt Road project, but it’s far from completed.
DOTD states they’ve reached a significant milestone with the ongoing $9.2 million project to improve a section of LA 525 (Colquitt Road) in south Caddo Parish as the contractor, Earnest Contracting, LLC., has completed laying the first layer of asphalt paving on the entire project, which is nearly 10 miles of repairs.
Obviously this is significant progress for this monstrous project, but there is still plenty of work to do including the placement of the top layer of asphalt paving, and the completion of the concrete pavement repairs on the north end of the project near the Mansfield Road intersection…
