Shawnee Mission welcomes two new high school principals this school year.
The Post talked with both principals — at SM East and SM Northwest — about what drives them, their goals, their qualifications and more.

A 1998 Shawnee Mission East graduate, Leah Vomhof found her way back to the school nearly 30 years later, now as its principal.
“I truly care about this school and this community, having grown up here,” Vomhof said. “I live in the community now as an adult, and I don’t take that for granted. The opportunity to support East, it’s a true honor and privilege.”…
