SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) – A bakery staple since 1983 is back with a new name and new owner.
Warren Jackson, owner and chef of Wooden Spoon Bakery and More at 4350 Viking Drive, bought the business in July and reopened in September after it closed in December.
“It opened in 1983 with Henry Burns, who is a popular person here in the area,” Jackson said. “I just felt like we just needed it in the community, just a good place where people have nostalgia.”…
