Top Chef Carolinas aired earlier this year with Greenville making its premiere in March. Now, one of the contestants, Laurence Louie, owner of Rubato KH Cafe in Massachusetts, is returning to host a dinner at Sum Bar Nov. 1. The stop is part of his post-Top Chef tour that allows him to meet up with friends he made through the show.
Louie is from Quincy, Massachusetts, which is similar in size to Greenville. He thought it seemed like a fun town to bring his family back to, noting things like the splash pads in areas like Unity Park or Main Street.
