ST. MARTIN PARISH, La. (KLFY) — The St. Martin Parish Consolidated Water District board revoted Oct. 27 to officially appoint Ronald Daigle as executive director following questions regarding the validity of an earlier vote.
Daigle was chosen in a 3-2 vote by the board during Tuesday evening’s consolidated water board meeting.
The consolidation project combines water districts in Catahoula, St. Martinville and the St. Martin Parish Government. Delcambre says Individual districts lacked sufficient funds to complete infrastructure upgrades on their own, leading to the consolidation to meet grant requirements and resolve ongoing water quality and discoloration issues…
