A new all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant has opened its doors in south Sacramento, bringing a sprawling menu of 88 types of hand rolls, specialty rolls and nigiri to the Pacific Plaza shopping center. Sake, a family-owned sushi and Asian fusion restaurant, is now serving diners at 6930 65th St., with adult all-you-can-eat pricing set at $39.99.
According to the Sacramento Bee, Sake’s online menu covers both classic Japanese sashimi and more Americanized sushi styles, including spicy salmon rolls, a crunch roll, and a rotation of baked, fried and cooked rolls. One standout is the restaurant’s namesake Sacramento roll, built with tempura shrimp, crab meat, salmon, unagi sauce, spicy mayo, lemon, scallion and masago. Pricing for kids is tiered as well, with children ages 7 to 9 paying $20.99 and those ages 4 to 6 paying $12.99 for the all-you-can-eat format.
Sake isn’t limited to raw fish. The same report notes 20 appetizers on the menu, including yakitori, takoyaki and edamame, alongside heartier cooked dishes like teriyaki, fried rice, chow mein, soup and salads. On the drink side, the restaurant pours soft drinks, lemonade, green tea and ramune rather than alcohol. Customers who’d rather eat at home can order takeout, delivery or pickup online.
