Government in the Town of Loxahatchee Groves has undergone numerous changes since a municipal election last March. One of its biggest restructuring efforts is still in dispute and may result in a costly legal battle.
Former Town Manager Francine Ramaglia is suing the town over its decision to terminate her employment agreement with cause in July. In her complaint, she alleges that the current council violated her contract by removing her before providing written charges or an opportunity for a hearing. It also claims that the two reasons named for her dismissal are not grounds for termination with cause under her employment agreement.
Ramaglia began her tenure as town manager in 2022, with her latest renewal beginning September 2025. Her contract was set to end in September of this year…
