Ever wanted a 12% decrease in your taxes?
That’s what Scheels, the giant sporting goods retailer, is expected to get for its Meridian location in the 2026 tax year. After appealing its property valuation with Ada County, Scheels’ taxes will drop from around $352,000 last year to an estimated $310,000 this year, according to the Ada County Treasurer’s Office.
