WESTBOROUGH — Amazon is withdrawing plans to bring delivery drones to Central Massachusetts.
Amazon sent a letter to Westborough Town Manager Kristi Williams on October 30 announcing a change in plans. The company will be withdrawing its site plan review application to install drone “launching pads” at its Otis Street facility.
“Amazon values its relationship with the Town of Westborough and looks forward to continuing to work with town officials on next steps,” the letter reads…
