Opening a restaurant in Denver can be a spooky situation for those brave enough to take that risk. But this Halloween, we look back on October and see quite a few steel-hearted souls who walked through the valley of permits, high rents and expensive costs to open a record number of restaurants this month.
By our count, 36 restaurants and bars opened in October. Even if you remove three reopenings on the list, that’s still more than one a day for the month.
