RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) – Monument Health has opened its second Community Heart Hub, giving Sturgis residents free access to blood pressure checks at the Sturgis Public Library.
The station is a partnership between Monument Health, the library and the American Heart Association. It includes an automated blood pressure cuff and educational materials to help adults understand their readings and learn about heart health.
The new location follows the opening of the first Community Heart Hub at the Rapid City Public Library in June 2025. Since then, the Rapid City station has been used for more than 1,500 blood pressure checks, according to Monument Health…
