A Missouri-based company has just purchased a home on the first hole of a championship golf course in The Villages for $1.225 million, just 22 months after the home sold for nearly $350,000 less.
The home located at 5992 Mulligan Road in the Village of Citrus Grove was sold for $1,225,000 by Michael and Melissa Fountain to Village on the Green LLC on September 17.
The 0.176-acre property sits directly on the first hole of the Southern Oaks Championship Golf Course. The site is situated within walking distance of Sawgrass Grove and the Ezell Recreation Center.
