WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – November opens with 6 o’clock hour sunrises, 5 o’clock hour sunsets, and the Cape Fear’s next best shower chances emerging later this week. Right now, these chances are still only in the 30 to 50% range, and the risk of flooding, severe storms and strong winds appears very low. Still, as it’s going on three weeks since it last rained, to get on the board at all would be a big deal.
Rain chances will perk up this week, but the system in question is looking a bit disjointed so they’re not 100%. Dry or mostly dry through Election Tuesday in any case… pic.twitter.com/iSnJsWjjOn

New Atlantic tropical storm formation chances will remain low this week.
