Terry Black’s Barbecue finally drops opening date for San Antonio location

The wait is nearly over for Terry Black’s Barbecue to make its San Antonio debut, and the family team behind the restaurant is eager to serve its signature flavors.

Located on Broadway near the Pearl, San Antonio’s first Terry Black’s Barbecue location is expected to open to the public at 10:30 a.m. on November 17, according to a news release from the business. The restaurant will feature all the barbecue classics, from brisket to ribs, along with savory sides such as potato salad and mac and cheese, and sweet desserts, including banana pudding and peach cobbler.

“San Antonio is one of the state’s most celebrated food cities, we are thrilled to add our family recipes, time-honored smoking techniques, and genuine Texas hospitality to this city,” Black Family Hospitality co-founder Mike Black said in the news release. “We look forward to welcoming San Antonio locals and visitors to gather over great barbecue.”

November 17 will also mark the start of reservations on OpenTable, Uber Eats delivery service and catering requests for the business. Once open, Terry Black’s Barbecue will be open 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays…
