HENDERSONVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — More than two decades after the City of Hendersonville acquired the land, the first phase of a project designed to reduce flood risk along Mud Creek is complete.
The Lower Mud Creek Floodplain Restoration and Flood Risk Reduction Project restores approximately 27 acres of floodplain, wetlands and stream habitat.
