BLACK HAWK COUNTY, Iowa (KWWL) – As the fallout from the Cedar Valley Medical Specialists financial situation continues to unfold, numerous medical care clinics once associated with the embattled medical group have announced plans to go independent.
In statements posted onto their respective Facebook pages, officials from the Cedar Valley Eye Care, which has clinics in Waterloo and Cedar Falls; the Cedar Valley Family Medicine clinic in Waterloo; and Cedar Valley Ascent, an ENT, sinus and allergy clinic with one location in Waterloo, announced future plans.
Officials with the Cedar Valley Eye Care wrote that they hope to reopen on Monday, Nov. 9, and that their doctors and support staff, “remain committed to serving the Cedar Valley just as we have been for over 25 years.”…
