Sonya Parrent spent $279 on season passes and dining plans for Six Flags St. Louis, planning a family outing at the park she’d visited for years. The suit alleges violations of Missouri consumer-protection statutes along with claims of unjust enrichment and breach of contract, and it seeks full reimbursement for unused dining passes plus additional damages for out-of-pocket meal expenses. Stltoday reports the suit accuses Six Flags and Enchanted Parks of unjust enrichment, breach of contract and violations of the Missouri Merchandising Practices Act — a state law that identifies deception, fraud, false pretenses, misrepresentation and the concealment of material facts as unlawful practices in merchandise sales, according to the Missouri Revisor of Statutes.
