Families in the Boulder Valley School District can now apply to enroll their children in schools outside their assigned attendance areas for the 2027-28 school year, as the district prepares to close four elementary schools and reorganize several others.
The district’s choice enrollment period opened Sunday, Nov. 1, and will remain open for on-time applications through Dec. 18.
The application period follows the Board of Education’s September approval of the district’s Resilient Schools plan, which will change attendance boundaries, consolidate schools and relocate some existing programs…
