LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — GPS trackers can help people locate stolen property, but a signal alone does not establish probable cause for police to search a home, according to Las Vegas Metropolitan Police.
Las Vegas resident Joshua Cole encountered that limit after his cherry red Velotric electric bicycle was stolen over the weekend and its tracker pointed to a complex a few blocks away from his apartment.
