MAYFLOWER, Ark. (KATV) — The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission plans to close Lake Conway’s gates Dec. 2, allowing the lake to begin holding water after three years of renovation work.
Officials announced the next step Monday evening during a public meeting at Mayflower High School. Closing the gates will begin the refilling process, but rainfall will determine how quickly the water returns.
