Beating the house is every gambler’s dream, and one off-Strip resort is now offering guests the chance to take one home. Rio Las Vegas has launched “Giving Away the House,” a $500,000 promotion topped by a newly built Lennar home in the Las Vegas Valley worth roughly $400,000.
The resort teamed with homebuilder Lennar on the campaign, which Rio calls the largest giveaway in the property’s history.
Rod Turlan, president and general manager of Rio Hotel & Casino, made clear the resort views the prize as something guests can’t find elsewhere. “It is a one-of-a-kind giveaway that guests will not find anywhere else on or off the Strip, and it embodies the kind of life-changing experiences that can only happen at Rio,” Turlan said. “Handing a guest the keys to a brand-new home is the kind of bold, unmatched energy that defines Rio.”…
