KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The role of Jackson County Executive is up for grabs on Tuesday’s ballot, with voters deciding between Democrat Stacy Lake and Republican Alan Rohlfing.
Lake won the Democratic primary with approximately 46% of the popular vote, beating out Bill Baird, Dan Tarwater, Manny Abarca, Ryan Meyer and Holmes Osborne. Meanwhile, Rohlfing was the lone Republican to file for county executive.
