State and federal leaders say ten Kansas meat processors are getting a share of nearly $60 million in grant funding, along with 40 other states.
Kansas meat processors will receive about $4 million in funding, including Hat Creek Butchery of Plains, Plainview Beef Co. LLC of Peabody, and Meatworks of Kansas LLC of Riley.
