SAHUARITA, Ariz. (13 News) – The Arizona Department of Transportation will begin surface treatments on Duval Mine Road in Sahuarita next week, raising uneven road surfaces and stabilizing soil under the roadway that has settled over time. ADOT will also replace over a 1,000 square feet of uneven sidewalks and ramps, as well as other damaged features.
ADOT tells us the first work is scheduled from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Sunday, November 8. It will last through Friday, November 13. During those times eastbound Duval Mine Road will be closed from the frontage road west of I-19 to east of I-19 at Abrego Drive.
