GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) — The Streatery, a downtown Gainesville street once open to vehicle traffic, is now a permanent pedestrian corridor, and community members and city leaders held a grand opening celebration on Friday evening.
The area is designed to give people more room to walk, connect, and enjoy downtown, organizers said.
