JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – Three separate officer-involved shootings were found justified, the Office of the Attorney General announced Friday.
The incidents include one on Nov. 6, 2024 in Monticello involving one Monticello Police Department Assistant Chief, one on April 24, 2025 in Richland involving one lieutenant and one sergeant of the Richland Police Department and another on July 19, 2025 in Tupelo involving one Verona Police Department officer.
