SEDONA, AZ (AZFamily) — State Route 89A has partially reopened after devastating flooding, but the popular scenic highway between Sedona and Flagstaff could remain closed for a long time.
The Arizona Department of Transportation said Friday that SR 89A is now open between the Owenby Way roundabout in Sedona and Slide Rock State Park.
The highway remains closed indefinitely from north of Slide Rock to the Oak Creek Vista scenic overlook. Drivers from Flagstaff can head south to the overlook but can’t go any farther…
