Buffalo-area Medicare Advantage members on any individual UnitedHealthcare, Independent Health or MVP Health Care plan will be out of network at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center in 2027, according to the cancer center’s own 2027 plan list. All 10 UnitedHealthcare products, all seven Independent Health products and all six MVP products are marked “No” for participation. Medicare’s annual enrollment period, Oct. 15 to Dec. 7, 2026, is the window to move before the new year.
The list covers 68 individual Medicare Advantage products from 12 insurers. Twenty-six are marked in network and 42 are marked out, so more than half the products on the list are closed to Roswell Park patients next year.
