UPDATE: Amber Alert issued for missing 5-year-old boy in Ohio; Suspect’s vehicle found

A statewide Amber Alert has been issued for a 5-year-old boy who police say was taken by his foster mother early Wednesday in Ohio.

Columbus Police say the boy, identified as Darnell Taylor, was taken by his foster mother, Pammy Maye.

Our news partner WBNS in Columbus reports that the suspect’s vehicle, a gray 2015 Jeep Cherokee with license plate JIGGZII, was found by police near Cleveland.

Columbus Police wrote on social media that the vehicle was found in Brooklyn, Ohio before 6 a.m. Wednesday morning.

The woman and boy have not been located.

Darnell Taylor is described as having black hair and brown eyes. It is unclear what he was wearing.

His foster mom is identified as Pammy Maye, 48, listed at 4′9″ and weighs 115 pounds.

She has brown hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a green floral nightgown with pink shoes.
