Farmer’s fresh produce nourishes Dunbar community amid ‘food desert’ concerns

FORT MYERS, Fla. – There’s an oasis right next to one of Fort Myers’ busiest corridors that is focused on feeding the community. “We try to grow a little bit of everything that people like,” farmer Rosco Thurman said. “Kale, we plant broccoli, we plant a little bit of everything, you know?”
