Shooting victim dies at hospital; Mobile police investigating homicide

MOBILE, Ala. ( WKRG ) — The Mobile Police Department is investigating after a man died from gunshot wounds at the hospital.

Man shot Monday night after argument at Clark’s Exxon

According to a press release by the department, officers with the MPD responded to Clark’s Gas Station at 420 N. Water St. at around 10:20 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 12, on reports of a shooting .

Upon arrival, officers found a 20-year-old male victim had been shot multiple times.

The man was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead, according to reports. The MPD will release the victim’s name upon notification of next of kin.

This is an active homicide investigation, and the MPD asks anyone with information about the case to call them at 251-208-7211.
