Legislation to change Louisville Metro Government passes House

FRANKFORT, Ky. (KT) – Legislation that would make some changes to Louisville’s Metro Government won approval in the Kentucky House on Tuesday. House Bill 388 is sponsored by Rep. Jason Nemes, R-Middletown. He pointed out to the members that the General Assembly passed a statute allowing Jefferson County residents to vote on a merger around 24 years ago, which they did.
