SUNSET BEACH, N.C. (WECT) – A Sunset Beach police officer helped out a Cooper’s hawk that got hit by a vehicle recently, according to the police department. The SBPD says that Officer Arp turned his car around to help out the bird, which seemed like it wasn’t able to fly.
