US60 closure between Loop 202, Crismon Road this weekend

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for the closure on U.S. Highway 60 Superstition Freeway in Mesa for pavement improvement work.

Eastbound US60 between Loop 202 and Crismon Road will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday, Feb. 16, through 5 a.m. Monday, Feb. 19.

The following ramps also will be closed:

  • The eastbound US 60 on-ramps at Power and Ellsworth roads; and
  • Both Loop 202 (SuperRedTan Interchange) ramps to eastbound US 60.

Detours: Drivers can consider using Southern Avenue or Broadway Road to connect with their destinations to the north of US 60 and Baseline or Guadalupe roads south of US 60.

Nightly lane restrictions Feb. 14-16 include eastbound US60 between Loop 202 and Crismon Road will have nightly lane restrictions from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. beginning Wednesday, Feb. 14, through the morning of Friday, Feb 16.

Upcoming restrictions/closures:

  • Westbound US60 between Crismon Road and Loop 202 will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday, Feb. 23, through 5 a.m. Feb. 26.
  • Eastbound US60 off-ramps at Ellsworth Road and southbound Loop 202 will be closed nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 21 and Thursday, Feb. 22.
