RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — The Richmond Police Department is investigating a shooting that left one man hospitalized after he was found near the border of Chesterfield County.
Around 11 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 13, officers were called to 5599 Midlothian Turnpike for a report of a person shot.
Upon their arrival, officers found a man with life-threatening injuries. He was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Upon further investigation, police determined that the shooting had occurred in the 300 block of Melmark Court.
