HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – Officials with Henderson Municipal Power & Light have announced plans to build a new multi-gigabit fiber-to-home network for the city, courtesy of a partnership with Fiber Optic Solutions.
Officials say this new infrastructure will expand the community’s access to reliable high speed Internet and will have a lasting, positive impact on education and economic development for Henderson.
Tuesday at the Tech introduces high school students to medical technology
Construction on the project will begin later this month and is expected to continue until the end of next year. Officials say this may cause temporary inconveniences for residents, but they will try to minimize any service disruptions.
