Pomerrine and Kevin Robert were charged with felony labor trafficking in March 2022 after they brought a mother and daughter from Guam and forced the two to work for them.

Both the husband and wife were charged with two counts of first-degree labor trafficking, a Class A felony that could have locked the Roberts in prison for up to 20 years.

The indictment also revealed that the two were held against their will for two years.

In December 2023, the State said the witnesses had moved back to Guam from Hawaii and needed more time to get in contact with them.

The State was allowed one month to contact the complaining witnesses, but were unsuccessful.

According to a court document, the State revealed they “had no physical address, no telephone number, no email address, and no point of contact in Guam for the complaining witnesses.”
