AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center announced that its School of Nursing recently made U.S. News & World Report’s 2024 rankings for “Best Online Program” among the nation’s top nursing schools.
Officials with TTUHSC detailed that the School of Nursing ranked No. 8 for the best online graduate program in the Veteran’s Graduate Nursing field. U.S. News & World Report Online College is focused on ranking the best online programs for veterans, measuring veteran or active-duty enrollment in the program, officials noted.
TTUHSC School of Nursing, according to officials, aids veterans with prior military medical training and experience to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. The school offers an accelerated 12-month program with online classes that utilize clinical instruction taught by assigned clinical coaches and nursing clinical faculty.
Notably, the Veteran to BSN degree is offered to veterans from all branches of the service and was “designed to give veterans credit for their armed forces services,” a release from TTUHSC read.
