PIERRE, S.D. (KELO) – A winter weather advisory is in effect for central and east-central South Dakota according to the National Weather Service. A band of snow will move across central South Dakota Wednesday morning including the Pierre area and across the east-central part of the state. The band of snow will also affect the I-90 corridor, beginning Tuesday night and continuing through noon on Friday, February 16, according to the South Dakota Department of Transportation. Expect four to six inches of snow in most areas and up to eight inches in places.
