The Oregon City Council convened last Tuesday night and the first thing on the agenda under “Business Items” was approving the appointment of Liz Hiemstra to the Planning and Zoning Commission. Hiemstra has been involved with many city events including the Farmer’s Market, along with helping with the planned mural on the side of the Village of Progress Bakery building. Hiemstra replaces Rachel Brunner who moved out of the area.
