BELOIT, Ill. (WIFR) – Beloit Fire Department says goodbye to its outdated thermal cameras after a grant from Firehouse Subs allowed them to purchase all new equipment. In the event of a fire, it is essential for firefighters to be quick and effective with their response. Thanks to a $41,700 grant from Firehouse Subs’ Public Safety Foundation, the Beloit Fire Department can utilize every second with the use of advanced thermal technology.
