VERO BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) – A calf found wandering in Vero Beach will be put up for auction after going unclaimed for over a week. The Indian River County Sheriff’s Office (IRCSO) said the lost calf was discovered near 12th Street between 20th and 27th Avenue on February 5. Deputies say the calf was safely transported to a nearby pasture by its Agricultural Unit, and for some time the calf was in the care of the IRSCO.
