INDIANAPOLIS — The gubernatorial campaign of U.S. Senator Mike Braun (R-Ind.) recently released its public safety plan which centered around standing with law enforcement, keeping Indiana communities safe and securing the southern border.
Braun, a Republican candidate for Indiana governor, said in a news release that he believes nothing is more important than the safety of Indiana residents.
This comes after multiple gubernatorial candidates, including Brad Chambers and Curtis Hill , released their respective public safety plans. The other candidates who are running for the position include:
- Tamie Dixon-Tatum (Democrat)
- Jennifer McCormick (Democrat)
- Chambers (Republican)
- Suzanne Crouch (Republican)
- Eric Doden (Republican)
- Hill (Republican)
- Jamie Reitenour (Republican)

“As Governor, I will put forward a bold agenda to protect Hoosiers from violent crime, drugs, and the dangers crossing our southern border. We will introduce initiatives focused on increasing support for law enforcement, addressing the fentanyl crisis, and enhancing measures to protect our schools and children,” Braun said in the release. “My proven track record in the Senate serves as a solid foundation for the ambitious public safety plan I intend to implement for Indiana, demonstrating my unwavering commitment to the safety and security of all Hoosiers.”
