Chances of rain, snow on the way; Timing, how much to expect

After a sunny and pleasant first half of the work week, the Miami Valley is about to see a change.

Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist Austin Chaney has been tracking this system and will have the latest LIVE on News Center 7 at 11.

Timing:

On Thursday cold front swings through bringing a narrow line of showers and strong and gusty winds.

The showers will pass through sometime mid to late morning Thursday.

The front drags down colder air for Friday.

Light snow will spread across the Miami Valley on Friday.

This could stick a little better after sunset.

Accumulation :

All and all we’re only expecting an inch or less across the area.

Travel impacts should be minimal.
