NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – A woman hit a man in the head with a hammer during a fight at a Queens apartment building on Tuesday night, police said.
The 51-year-old man and 54-year-old woman were arguing at 34-25 Linden Place, a residential tower in Flushing, shortly before 11 p.m. when she attacked him with the hammer, according to cops.
The relationship between the two wasn’t immediately clear.
He was rushed to New York-Presbyterian Queens, where he was listed in stable condition with a gash to the head.
She was taken into custody by responding NYPD officers.
The hammer was recovered at the scene, police said.
