Local brothers, father indicted for narcotics, obstructing justice

DAYTON, Ohio ( WDTN ) — A federal grand jury has indicted two brothers and their father for crimes related to conspiracies to distribute narcotics and obstruct justice.

According to the Southern District of Ohio U.S. Attorney’s Office, Chase Crump, 34, and Colin Crump, 32, both of Centerville, were arraigned in federal court this week. Their father, Mark Crump, 56 of Englewood, was arraigned as well.

Chase and Colin Crump were charged in a narcotics conspiracy punishable by at least 10 years and up to life in prison.

FBI investigation leads to 2 Montgomery County arrests

Court documents allege the brothers conspired to distribute more than two kilograms of methamphetamine, more than 100 grams of fentanyl analogue and cocaine. The alleged drug trafficking took place between November 2023 and January 2024 in Miamisburg, Englewood, Franklin, Centerville and Cincinnati.

The brothers were also charged with maintaining an alleged drug premise on River Downs Drive in Centerville. Law enforcement agents discovered approximately half a kilogram of fentanyl at the residence.
