Josh Allen, Tiger Woods pair up at Genesis Invitational pro-am

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen paired up with golf legend Tiger Woods for the Genesis Invitational pro-am Wednesday in California.

Wednesday’s pro-am is the second notable golf event Allen has played in recent weeks after he took part in the Pebble Beach Pro-Am earlier this month, where he was in a foursome with Tom Brady. Allen and his partner, PGA pro Keith Mitchell, finished tied for 6th in the event.

The Genesis, which is played at Riviera Country Club near Los Angeles, will mark Woods’ first PGA Tour start since the 2023 Masters. He had to miss last year’s PGA Championship in Rochester as he underwent surgery for post-traumatic arthritis.

Unfortunately for fans of both Allen and Woods, there was no online leaderboard or live stream to track how the two are doing.

After the event, Woods praised Allen’s golf game as well as his “addiction” and “enjoyment” for the sport.

“[Allen] asked unbelievable questions today about how he can get better that only athletes really can really ask,” Woods said.
